The Negative Effect of Twitter
Social networking sites are now under community trends. Starting from school children to the President of Americans use social networking sites.
One of the growing social networking site in the community is Twitter. With all the limitations provided by Twitter, it makes this social networking became hits.
You can say anything on Twitter. On the positive side you can take its to build a network, build relationships with new people, find information, share information, promote businesses and others. With all the positive value that is owned Twitter, does not mean social networking does not have flaws.
There have been many negative effect of twitter. We have interview a lot of people in SMPN 1 Cimahi.
According Mrs.Sri Gumanti, the mathematics teacher in SMPN 1 Cimahi. She said that twitter can makes the users spend much money and spend a lot of time.
Usually, the ‘evil’ peoples use twitter for kidnap someone, especially the teenager. Now, there is much information about someone who kidnapped by facebook and twitter. Mr.Gunarsah, he is music teacher. He said “The misuse of twitter can cause the criminality. For example : kidnapped, robbery, slander and etc.”
Besides, one of the 9th grades in SMPN 1 Cimahi said that twitter can make us forget about our tasks and twitter can make us undiscipline.
When we asked about the negative effect of twitter to Mrs. Lisa, the biology teacher, she said that twitter can make our idea short because if we want to make the status on twitter, it must less than or equal 140 character.
Besides, we also interviewed Mr.Rahmat. The ScoutMaster and the TU’s Staff. He said that twitter can destroy our eyes if we often use it in long time. Twitter can make us addict to online and tweeting every day.
Mr.Andri, he is TU’s staff and one of the 8th grade student said that the misuse of twitter can make some people debate, usually we use informal and frontal language or bad language and it can caused gossip.
The other negative effects of twitter such as :

Pornographic
This issue has always been a major problem in the advancement of technology. On Twitter, you may not tweet pornographic writings that smells, but sometimes there are fraudulent users that provides links to pornographic sites via his tweet. If you accidentally open the site and a set of conditions and environments that are not right, then your reputation can be destroyed instantly. 2. Left
He cried on Twitter talking often makes people forget time. Under certain conditions, Twitter can disrupt your productivity. Even in Florida, United States, there is a busy mother tweeting while his son drowned in the swimming pool.
3. Envy
Sometimes someone tweets something about him and sometimes it makes other people jealous. It has also become one of the weaknesses of Twitter because spur others to show off and be the time line you are as a platform to show off that trigger people to gossip.
